Gina (Omotola Jalade Ekeinde) and Alex (Ramsey Nouah) seem like the ideal couple from the outside. Alex and Gina have the ultimate relationship – they are beautiful, they are rich, they are in love, what could possibly go wrong? Both are successful within their own rights and living a great lifestyle, however beneath the charade lays insecurity, bullying and physical abuse. His urge to always be in control of all aspect of Gina’s life is threatening their relationship. Alex is constantly beating his wife and accusing her of cheating on him despite no evidence to support his claims.
· ELEMENTS OF PRODUCTION:
SOUND EFFECT AND LIGHTNING: The sound effects were okay although it could have been better. The lightning was average.
COSTUME: The costumes used were to plain and normal except in the case of the dresses bought for Gina by Alex. The hair stylist did okay but could have picked hair extensions of better quality for the character. Makeup was okay.
PICTURE QUALITY: The picture quality was great but there were minor problems. There was also a part in the movie when it was blurry.
· SHOTS AND ANGLES:

In all fairness, the movie was good but there were some errors that were too obvious. Some of them are:
After a drunken night, Jay (John Dumelo) wakes up still holding his wine glass and only pours it when we gets up. Did he sleep all night holding his glass?
When Gina (Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde)’s friend, Uju, comes to the boutique, Gina (Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde) shows her a ring which she’s wearing on her ring finger while she is supposedly engaged.
During the argument downstairs, Gina (Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde) has earrings on but after running quickly up the stairs away from Alex (Ramsey Nouah) and locking herself in the bathroom, her earrings disappear. Did she remove them on the way up?
Are we supposed to assume that they had repaired the black Range Rover that Alex (Ramsey Nouah) and Uju had an accident in as it was used in the next driving scene?
“Just like the leopard, u people cannot change your spot.” – Alex (Ramsey Nouah)
When Alex (Ramsey Nouah) is pressing the doorbell at Uju’s apartment, Uju says something to Gina (Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde) but there’s no audio at all.
The movie is good. The casting was great and I would recommend this movie for anyone to watch. It creates awareness for domestic violence. We see the cycle of violence and making it up that traps so many women. When Alex is nice he can be super nice but then the downside is that he gets angry and jealousy easil. We also see the history behind Alex’s violence and how his past has affected his present state.
Girls should be careful what they wish for. You never know what is really going on in someone’s life so there is no reason to be jealous of anyone for anything
