REVIEW: This movie is an exception of what we expect from the Mount Zion Faith international Ministries. The Ignition is relative to our present age and well flavored with moderate spirituality. This movie is loaded with precise, concise messages while still having deep meaning.

The ignition is a quite hilarious mixed with a tale of deceit that occurred in the movie. The chemistry between Shola and Ngozi at the beginning of the movie was intoxicating, Love laced with anxiety was clearly written on their faces.

The mood and actions of each scene was in sync with the locations used. They were all nice and beautiful especially Ibadan garden where Shola and Ngozi met at different intervals.

The subtitle of the movie was correct with no error, even having all the necessary punctuation mark. Not only the subtitle, but the pronunciations of words by the cast were correct and clear.

The audio was sharp, clear and the effects were well attributed to its action. Camera shots and movement were great and a clear presentation of every act was shown. The lightings were on point BRAVO to Joshua Mike-Bamiloye.

The movie appreciated the African culture and nature with the environment. The African culture particularly, the inter-cultural association of Shola and Ngozi. The movie also gave a glance of how a suitor is received in an Igbo land, the bride price “challenges“, music, dressing, food and the native environment also.

Having appreciated the movie, some issues that need clarification would be addressed.

I feel the proper costume for an event occurring in the film was not 100% achieved. I can’t imagine a lady wearing native wear for a date, while the man is on suit. I feel it’s kind of weird and not nice at all.

The ability for Shola to sight Ngozi’s picture on Daniel phone at a distance on the table, is questionable.

CONCLUSION: I salute Damilola Mike-Bamiloye for creating a wonderful short movie for the youths and giving the Mount Zion movies a new look. I appreciate the other hand that created this great movie.  I advise that every youth should watch and learn from.
