REVIEW: The movie the secret room is a movie that describes what happens in our everyday life in the society. It mirrors the effect of parental actions in their children’s life. The secret room mirrors the depth of man’s wickedness and how long a revenge can be held. This makes the story line very intriguing as we see how Edna struggle to overcome the ghosts of her father’s past hunting her. The movie which is very easy to relate too, as indigenous languages and locations were used in its production giving Nigerian viewers a state of belonging. Although the story line and the acting seem to be well intact, the movies sound track seems to not relate to the movie in anyway. The lightning of the movie was fair as everything seemed to be dark. The team of suspense wasn’t used in full in the secret room as viewers can almost tell the end from the beginning just like every other Nigerian movie.

CONCLUSION: The movie the secret room is a very interesting movie, which portrays how our actions can stand as a deterrent not only to us but our children also.
